DIRECT FLIGHT: DAVAO – TOKYO ???

Japanese tour operators are exploring for the possibility of a direct flight between Davao and Tokyo. Japanese Chamber of Commerce Mindanao President Keisuke Nakao said that All Nippon Airlines is looking at servicing direct flights between Davao-Japan to accelerate investment/tourism.

As of 2017, data from Davao Tourism Operations Office said that Japanese are 2nd in the list of top 10 foreign visitors. There are 12,510 Japanese who traveled in Davao last year. The need to boost connectivity from Davao International Airport is among the priorities of DCCCII.
